1980:

John Mark Fullmer born March 8th in Anaheim, CA, to parents Eric and Elizabeth; living on Berkeley Avenue in Fullerton

1984:

Family moves to 1118 North Hollydale Drive

1986-1992:

begins attending Acacia Elementary School

1990:

begins playing trumpet in school band

1992:

begins trumpet lessons with David Washburn

1994-1998:

attends Troy High School

1998:

begins attending the University of Southern California for a degree in trumpet performance; lives at Birnkrant Residental College on the USC campus

1999:

lives in Sierra Apartments on Portland St. in Los Angeles with Vince Ruiz

2000:

lives at 2630 Menlo Avenue

2001:

changes degree objective from Bachelor of Music in trumpet to Bachelor of Arts in Music

2002:

Graduates USC, Bachelor of Arts in Music, on May 10th
moves to London in September

2003:

Returns to USA, joins the Peace Corps(2 yrs)

2005:

Goes back to England for a degree in English Literature

2007:

At age 27, Mark is not ready to settle down, but needs some money, so he gets a job teaching Latin

2010:

Mark embarks on a world tour, meets a nice girl in Cairo, and settles there, teaching English

2010-2018:

living in Cairo and drinking too much, Mark begins writing seriously. The only problem is that he's the only one who takes his writing seriously.

2019:

March 10th: Mark's first heart attack. April 6th: On their way to a local cafe, Mark and his girl are hit by a car that swerved onto the sidewalk. Mark is severely crippled. His girl dies.

2020:

nearly broke and without any reason to stay in Cairo, Mark goes home to Fullerton, California.

2020-2024:

living with his parents, Mark begins recovery from his accident and eventually becomes a hiking guide for the San Gorgonio Wilderness Service.

2024:

Del Rey Books publishes Mark's novel, The Eagle in the Pit

2024:

On March 3th, Mark suffers the first of the fatal strokes. On March 8th, at 4:00pm, Mark dies at age 44.
